UPGRADING HOME
Post

Finally upgrading Lightning and Storm's home!! XD
I just bought a 180 gallon arcylic "long" aquarium. I think the tank used to be a reef tank because there are drain holes on the bottom of the tank... sigh... so I got a new lil project I'm gonna be working on this week. I'm going to be gettin scrap acrylic pieces and using Household Adhesive Sealant (100% Silicone) to seal the holes. Then im going to be creating glass plateforms across the entire back wall for their land area XD.
Just a little worried about sealing these holes.
Here's the new home!

Hi blink,
Nice tank. It looks very... blue
Why don't you keep one of the drain holes in there? It might come in handy.

Well I would do the same thing: close two holes with scrap pieces of acrylic glass. The silicone sealant is not enough to fix them though. You have to glue them to the bottom before applying the sealant.
I would put a lid on one hole and connect a drain to it, so you can drain the whole tank once in a while. The water pressure will keep the lid in place.
Good luck with the project

Very nice video. I like the blue effect. It's funny to see one of them yawning

Another cool video. You have a very lively fish/turtle tank.
