Agression in numbers?

Post by DHemby » Mon Mar 17, 2008 8:59 pm

I know you should keep males separate, but how many females can get along in a group? I currently have two females that get along great and im thinking of purchaseing 1-2 more females, not to keep together in one tank but when i put them in the outdoor home will they fight or be ok togther? Im still trying to find a male.

They are usually friendly, but some individuals can be aggressive. You just never know till you put them together.
Last year I had to separate my grandises after 16 years. They got aggressive to each other, especially Duncan.
It's okay though, I wanted to separate them anyway because they are siblings.
