Re: confiscated turtles (2015)
Update:
It is no longer possible to apply for this.
4.17.55 grandises were available. The 0.0.55 included females and males, apparently sub-adults.
A member of this forum was interested in 0.0.2 turtles, someone else 1.1, and a British zoo will take an unknown number of grandises as well.
We know from previous shipments that it's always a surprise what we get when we open the boxes from Hong Kong. Applicants have to be prepared for that. In 2010, 1.6 (in the documents) turned out to be 6.1.
Anyway, I am looking forward to this shipment. We cannot help all confiscated turtles, but we can make a difference for the ones that we adopt
